Cross your fingers, toes and eyelashes that no rain comes our way Tuesday! It's WATERSLIDE day for the teens from 11-1pm! Come join us on this sucker....2 lanes, 70ft long, 20 foot high...need I say more! Be sure you wear swimsuits only or t-shirts over swimsuits - no cutoffs or jewelry - no exceptions! Check out pictures from our 3rd annual Ana-Con event. Had around 77 people join us for a day filled with dancing, eating, drawing, gaming, & much more! Thanks to everyone who came and especially everyone who helped organize, setup, take down and clean. You guys are the best! Oh, and you raised $300 bucks for YA stuff...way to go! Wish I would have taken more pictures, so if you have some, please post them to the Chambers County Library System's Facebook fan page to share with our library fans!
The teens of the Chambers County Library will be raising money to help the people of Haiti following the devastating earthquake this week. A garage sale will take place Jan. 23 at 9am with proceeds going to the Red Cross. Bring your gently used items to sell or you can make a monetary donation. Leftover items will be given to the Caring Center in Anahuac, Texas. See the flyer Download Here A meeting will take place Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 4pm.
